GMG is a corporate member of the Advanced Materials and Battery Council (founding member) and the The Graphene Council.

GMG is a 2021 member of the Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre for Battery Electrolytes.

GMG is a participant in an Australian Research Council Federal Government Funded Project (A$390k), to develop and produce Graphene enhanced Aluminium Ion Batteries with The University of Queensland (UQ)

GMG is a participant in an Australian Research Council Federal Government Funded Project, to develop and produce High Performance Nanocomposite Coatings for Domestic Appliances with The University of Queensland (UQ).

GMG will receive $226k in funding from the Federal Government Funded Australian Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) for the development, production, and trial with various large customers of Liquid Graphene Products.

GMG is a participant in Australian Research Council Federal Government Funded Project, to develop and produce bio-based low-cost Potassium and Sodium-Ion Batteries with The University of Queensland (UQ).

GMG is a participant in Co-operative Research Centre Federal Government Funded Project, to upscale Graphene enhanced polyethylene to new world-leading strengths, with Qenos.

GMG is sponsoring and participating in an Advance Queensland Industrial Research Fellowship for The Herston Biofabrication Institute, with Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to support biofabrication approaches to vascular surgery.
